Unfortunately, we did not score a place for our Society stand
again this year, but won a number of prizes between us in the individual classes:
3 first, 6 second, and 2 third places.

into the display in the hopes of refreshing the usual bonsai display and

| Shrewsbury Flower Show 2010

We attended Shrewsbury Flower Show again this year, entering both the
Society class with our main stand, and also members entered the individual
classes.
We weren't awarded a place for our stand, but achieved a few 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in
the individual classes. So all in all, still a successful event for us.

We put a lot of effort into our entry, aiming to maintain our high standard
of Gold Medals. But disappointingly, we were awarded a Silver-Gilt
this year, although this is still a great achievement...

We enjoyed the last round of pot-making so much and were so pleased
with the results of our own handiwork that the pot-making workshops with
David are becoming an annual event.

This was our first foray into making our own bonsai pots. We booked a
workshop with David Jones of Walsall Ceramics where he came and taught
us how to make bonsai pots out of slabs of clay.
